Awaran District
Awaran District (Balochi and ur, ), is a district in the south of the Balochistan (Pakistan), Balochistan Subdivisions of Pakistan, province of Pakistan. It was created as a separate district in November 1992; but previously it was a sub-division of Khuzdar District. The old name of Awaran was Kolwa. The union councils of Pakistan ( ur, ), referred to as village councils in villages, are an elected local government body consisting of 21 councillors, and headed by a Nazim which is equivalent to a mayor or chairperson and a Naib Nazib (vice chairperson). A tehsil (, also known as tahsil, taluka, or taluk) is a local unit of administrative division in some countries of South Asia. It is a subdistrict of the area within a district including the designated populated place that serves as its administrative centre, with possible additional towns, and usually a number of villages. Kharan District
Kharan district ( bal, هاران/خاران; ur, ) is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 162,766, of which 84,631 were males and 78,135 females. Rural population was 111,378 (68.43%) while the urban population was 51,388 (31.57%). The literacy rate was 40.93% - the male literacy rate was 55.42% while the female literacy rate was 25.47%. 595 people in the district were from religious minorities. At the time of the 2017 census, 81.49% of the population spoke Balochi and 16.88% Brahui as their first language. Panjgur District
Panjgur ( bal, پنجگور, ur, ) is a district in the west Balochistan province of Pakistan. Panjgur was one of three districts of Makran District until 1 July 1977, when the district became a part of Makran Division. The other two districts of Makran Division are Kech (Turbat) and Gwadar. Chitkan is the district headquarter. Panjgur has sixteen (16) Union Councils. Panjgur (literally: Five Graves) is home to several archaeological sites, including centuries-old tombs, an old dam called Band-e-Gillar, remnants of a fort at Khudabadan (the historical fort of Nawab Kharan) and some remnants of the old port of Issai. The seasonal Rakshan River flows right in the middle of Panjgur, dividing it into two parts, the northern and southern Panjgur.
