Avenida Larco
Larco Avenue ( es, Avenida Larco) is a major avenue in the district of Miraflores, an affluent district in Lima, Peru. It originates at the Óvalo de Miraflores, a roundabout in the center of the district, and runs south, towards Avenida Armendariz and the pier. It is primarily an affluent commercial street, home to various boutiques, casinos, luxury hotels, bars, and nightclubs. It is the setting of numerous works of literature that depict Lima's social elite and provides historical context to Lima's upper classes, among them works by Alfredo Bryce and Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa. Miraflores Central Park
Miraflores Central Park ( es, Parque Central de Miraflores), also known as Miraflores Park ( es, Parque de Miraflores), is a public park located in Miraflores, Lima, Peru. It is divided into two parks: John F. Kennedy Park ( es, Parque John F. Kennedy) and 7 June Park ( es, Parque 7 de Junio). The former gives the entire park complex its popular name, Kennedy Park. Larcomar
The Larcomar is a shopping center in the Miraflores district of Lima, Peru owned by Chilean company Parque Arauco S.A. It was opened on 27 November 1998. It is frequently visited by international tourists, as well as by locals from Miraflores and other parts of Lima. It is located on Avenida Jose Larco, and it is along the cliff next to the ocean (''mar'' means 'sea' in Spanish) thus the name Larcomar. Alfredo Bryce Echenique (born February 19, 1939) is a Peruvian writer born in Lima. He has written numerous books and short stories. Early days Bryce was born to a Peruvian family of upper class, related to the Scottish-Peruvian businessman John Weddle Bryce (1817 in Edinburgh – 9 March 1888), ancestor of the Marquesses of Milford-Haven and of the Duchesses of Abercon and Westminster. He was the third son and the fourth of the five children of the banker Francisco Bryce Arróspide and his wife, Elena Echenique Basombrío, granddaughter of the former President José Rufino Echenique.
