Avenida 28 De Julio (Lima)
28 de Julio Avenue ( es, Avenida 28 de Julio) is one of the main avenues in the city of Lima, Peru. It extends from west to east in the districts of Jesús María, Lima and La Victoria along 31 blocks. The avenue's length allows it to pass through several landmarks, some present to the date and some gone, such as the lagoon next to the monument to Jorge Chávez, the latter built in 1937. A bypass was built in 2016 which replaced the ', a plan to redesign the area of the city surrounding Rímac river, which was met with controversy. Route It begins on the Avenida Brasil, at the triple border point of the districts of Breña, Jesús María and Lima. In its first 7 blocks it sets the limit between Jesús María and Lima. In this section is the Reina de los Ángeles school as well as the '03' wholesale market in Lima. El Agustino is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. It is part of city of Lima. Officially established as a district on January 6, 1965, the current mayor (''alcalde'') of El Agustino is Víctor Modesto Salcedo Ríos. The district's postal code is 10. Lima Metro
The Lima Metro ( es, Metro de Lima) is a rapid transit system that serves the area of the cities of Lima and Callao, both of which make up the Lima metropolitan area, currently linking the district of Villa El Salvador in the south of Lima with San Juan de Lurigancho in the northeast of the same city. The Park of the Exposition (Spanish: Parque de la Exposición) is a park located in the neighborhood of downtown Lima, capital of Peru. History The park was occupied by the south gate of the Walls of Lima, known as ''Puerta de Guadalupe''. In the 1870s President José Balta ordered the demolition of these walls within its modernization plan of the city. It was planned that this location would be aimed at building a park that would house the Lima International Exhibition of 1872. Thus, alongside the park, rose the Exhibition Palace (now the Lima Art Museum). The park plan was made by and Italian architect Antonio Leonardi. Inca Garcilaso de la Vega Avenue ( es, Avenida Inca Garcilaso de la Vega), also known by its old name, Wilson Avenue ( es, Avenida Wilson), is an avenue in Lima, Peru.
