RS-26 Rubezh
The RS-26 Rubezh (, meaning ''frontier'' or ''boundary''), designated by NATO as SS-X-31, is a Russian solid-fueled intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) with a nuclear warhead, of which the range bracket just barely classifies it as an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). It is equipped with a thermonuclear MIRV or MaRV payload, and is also intended to be capable of carrying the Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle. The RS-26 is based on RS-24 Yars, and constitutes a shorter version of the RS-24 with one fewer stages. The development process of the RS-26 has been largely comparable to that of the RSD-10 Pioneer, a shortened derivative of the RT-21 Temp 2S. Deployment of the RS-26 is speculated to have a similar strategic impact as the RSD-10. History After an unsuccessful test launch in September 2011, it was test-launched successfully on 26 May 2012, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in north-western Russia, hitting its target minutes later 5,800 km away at the Kur ...

Avangard (hypersonic Glide Vehicle)
The Avangard (, "Vanguard"; previously known as Objekt 4202, Yu-71 and Yu-74) is a Russian hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV). It can be carried as a multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) payload of heavy intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), such as the UR-100UTTKh, R-36M2 and RS-28 Sarmat. It can deliver both nuclear and conventional payloads. The Avangard is reportedly capable of travelling at re-entry speeds (over Mach 27 and close to Mach 30). The Avangard is one of the six new Russian strategic weapons unveiled by Russian President Vladimir Putin on 1 March 2018. History According to Vladimir Putin, the US withdrawal from the ABM Treaty in 2002 forced Russia to start developing hypersonic weapons: "We had to create these ypersonicweapons in response to the US deployment of a strategic missile defense system, which in the future would be capable of virtually neutralizing, zeroing out all our nuclear potential". In 2007, when asked about U.S. ...

FC Avangard Zhitomir
Football Club Polissya Zhytomyr () is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Zhytomyr, Polissya. It plays in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top tier of Ukrainian football, following promotion from the 2022–23 Ukrainian First League. The original Soviet team of masters became defunct after the 2004–05 season and for almost decade the city was without its professional club, although the Polissia football academy as a specialized sports school continued to play at local competitions. History The club traces its history back to 1959 when there was created the first "team of masters" (Soviet terminology of professional team). However, the team functioned before 1959 at republican level which was considered to be amateur. For example, in 1958 Avanhard Zhytomyr became a champion of Zhytomyr Oblast. In Soviet times the club carried the name ''Avtomobilist'' (car maker), then it changed to ''Polissya'' (the name for the local region ( Polesie), which means (roughly) the ...
