Autumn Burke
Autumn Roxanne Burke (born November 23, 1973) is an American politician who served as a member of the California State Assembly from December 1, 2014 to January 31, 2022. A Democrat, she represented the California's 62nd State Assembly district, which encompasses portions of the Westside and the South Bay regions of Los Angeles County until she resigned on January 31, 2022. Career Prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2014 to succeed term-limited incumbent Steven Bradford, she was a realtor and business consultant. She is the daughter of former Assemblywoman, Congresswoman and Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke. Her mother was the first member of Congress to give birth (to Autumn) while in office. They appeared together on the March 1974 cover of '' Ebony'' magazine. Emidio "Mimi" Soltysik ( ; October 30, 1974 – June 28, 2020) was an American socialist political activist for the Socialist Party USA. He was the party's nominee for President of the United States in the 2016 election alongside Angela Nicole Walker, who was the party's vice-presidential nominee. From October 2013 to October 2015, Soltysik served as national co-chair of the Socialist Party USA. Prior to that, he served as national vice chair from 2011 to 2013. Soltysik also served as state chair of the Socialist Party of California from its chartering in 2011 to 2017. Personal life Soltysik was born in Reading, Pennsylvania.
