Automatic (Australian Band)
Automatic is an Australian rock band formed in Geelong in 1993 by Matt Fenton on guitar and vocals, Alex Jarvis on guitar (both ex-Spinouts), Leigh Marlow on drums and Richard Taylor on bass guitar. Their single, "Sister K" was engineered by Tom Whitten who earned a nomination at the ARIA Music Awards of 1996 for ARIA Award for Engineer of the Year, Engineer of the Year for that and two other releases. "Pump it Up" was engineered by Magoo (Australian producer), Magoo who earned a nomination in ARIA Music Awards of 1999, 1999 for the same category for that and one other release.ARIA Award previous winners. "Automatic" is the first single from The Get Up Kids' album '' There Are Rules''. After the band's breakup in 2005, "Automatic" was the first single released by the band following their reformation in 2008. ''Weezer'' (also known as the ''Red Album'') is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Weezer, released on June 3, 2008, by DGC and Interscope Records. Rick Rubin and Jacknife Lee both produced parts of the album, with the band producing a handful of tracks themselves. It is the only Weezer album to feature lead vocals from all four band members. The album also features more musical experimentation in comparison to their previous efforts, especially shown in such songs as " Dreamin'", "The Angel and The One", and " The Greatest Man That Ever Lived". ''Resolve'' is Lagwagon's seventh studio album, released in 2005. It is inspired by and dedicated to former Lagwagon drummer Derrick Plourde who died by suicide on March 30, 2005.
