Automatic Black is a rock music, rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. History 2001-2003 Formation The band formed in 2001 when Vocalist Jeff Darr returned from Europe and met Drummer Tom Chambers and Bassist Steve Kitabjian through mutual friends. Guitarist Stevie D. finalized the lineup after he felt a calling to the band because both the group's members and music had similar feel to his own struggles and hardship. 2003-2004 Minor popularity and De-Evolution In 2003, Automatic Black was the opening act for Kiss (band), Kiss and Aerosmith on the second leg of their Rocksimus Maximus Tour. Aero Force One is the fan club for American hard rock band Aerosmith. Background The origins of the fan club were rooted in the mid-1970s, when the band first broke through with their album '' Toys in the Attic''. The band became a popular act with a loyal following of fans, often referred to as the " Blue Army". Former Aerosmith guitarist and band friend Ray Tabano got the idea of printing simple T-shirts with the classic Aerosmith "wings" logo. 100 of these T-shirts were printed and sold out within a matter of minutes at an Aerosmith concert. PureVolume (formerly Unborn Media) was a website for uploading and streaming of music files, the first independently run of its type. PureVolume was created by Unborn Media, Inc; Mitchell Pavao; Brett Woitunski; and Nate Hudson, all from the University of Massachusetts. PureVolume is a website for the discovery and promotion of new music and emerging artists. The mission was to give artists a new promotion tool. Joshua Todd Gruber (born April 4, 1970), known professionally as Josh Todd, is an American musician, singer, songwriter and actor, best known as the lead singer of the American rock band Buckcherry. Background Josh Todd grew up in Anaheim Hills, California, and later moved to Lake Forest, California. He attended high school at Trabuco Hills High School in Orange County, California, and graduated in 1989. Prior to his days in Buckcherry, Todd fronted the Hollywood glam rock band Slamhound. The ''News & Record'' is an American, English language newspaper with the largest circulation serving Guilford County, North Carolina, and the surrounding region.
