Austromitra
''Austromitra'' is a genus of sea snails in the family (biology), family Costellariidae. They are small carnivorous marine (ocean), marine gastropod mollusks, most of which are less than 15mm in length. They live on hard substrates, intertidally and to a depth of at least 1000m. The genus is found in southern Africa, southern Australia, New Caledonia, and New Zealand. The whorls are subangulated medially, without spiral ornament. The shell is turriculate, ending in a relatively large pullus of two smooth convex whorls, the top laterally immersed.
