On 26 March 2020, the Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) announced that they had internally selected Vincent Bueno to compete at the 2021 contest in Rotterdam, the Netherlands after he was due to compete in the 2020 contest with " Alive" before the event's cancellation, while "Amen" was presented to the public on 10 March 2021. Austria was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Loin d'ici" written by Zoë Straub and Christof Straub. The song was performed by Zoë. The Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) organised the national final ''Wer singt für Österreich?'' in order to select the Austrian entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Ten songs competed in a televised show where a jury panel and a public vote first selected the top two entries to proceed to a second round of voting. In the second round, a public vote exclusively selected "Loin d'ici" performed by Zoë as the winner. Drew Sarich (born August 24, 1975) is an American stage actor and singer songwriter from St. Louis, who performs in the English and German languages. Biography Sarich received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a concentration in Directing from Boston Conservatory in 1997. He made his Off-Broadway debut in ''Tony n' Tina's Wedding'', followed by a tour as a backup singer for Liza Minnelli with the Cortes Alexander Trio. Gabriela Horn (born 25 January 1988), known professionally as Paenda (pronounced "panda"; stylised as PÆNDA), is an Austrian singer, songwriter and music producer. She represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest, Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Limits (Paenda song), Limits", which was released on 8 March. Life and career Horn was born in January 1988, in Deutschlandsberg, Styria. She started singing in a choir in her home town at the age of six. Andreas "Andi" Knoll (born 11 June 1972 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian radio and television presenter. He has served as the Austrian commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest since 1999. ORF 1 (''ORF eins'', ''Österreichischer Rundfunk 1'') is an Austrian public television channel owned by ORF.
