Australind Senior High School is a comprehensive public co-educational high day school, located in Australind, a regional centre in the South West region, south of Perth, Western Australia. Overview The campus is made up of modern buildings that overlook the Brunswick River. The school was established in 1987 and by 2012 had an enrolment of 982 students between Year 8 and Year 12, 34 (3%) of whom were Indigenous Australians. The school was not officially opened until 1994 after operating for 7 years. In 2007 the school received federal government funding to implement the ''Success for Boys'' program. Enrolments at the school have fluctuated over the last six years. Enrolments have been 983 students in 2007, 1,216 in 2008, 1,157 in 2009, 1,010 in 2010, 982 in 2011, 982 in 2012, 977 in 2013, 1,007 in 2014 and 1,263 in 2015. Country Week
Country Week or Country Senior High Schools Carnival is an annual multi-sport event carnival held in Perth, Western Australia, between rural high schools from Western Australia. The carnival is organised by School Sport WA. The carnival includes sports such as Australian rules football, hockey, soccer, netball, volleyball and basketball in a range of divisions. Non-sporting competitions in areas such as speech, debating and dance have also been added to the event schedule. Country Week is recognised as being the biggest event of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The event typically involves about 40 schools with around 3,000 students and over 200 teachers and support staff. The carnival is held toward the end of the second school term in late June and early July and lasts for one week. The Shire of Harvey is a local government area of Western Australia. Nicole Trunfio (born 16 March 1986) is an Australian model. Early life Trunfio was born on 16 March 1986 in Dubbo, New South Wales to father Giuseppe and mother Kim.
