Schedule and results Exhibition Matches The Austin Aztex began their inaugural season as a professional team by playing 4 MLS teams in preseason exhibition matches. The first three games were held in Austin at Nelson Field while the fourth MLS match was in Rio Tinto Stadium on the MLS opening weekend. Austin Aztex
The Austin Aztex were a soccer team based in Austin, Texas, United States. Founded in 2011 as a member of the Premier Development League, the team played the 2015 season in the United Soccer League, the second tier of the United States soccer pyramid. This was the second team to carry the name Austin Aztex; the first were founded in 2008 and relocated to Orlando in 2010, with that ownership group eventually being awarded an MLS franchise of the same name in that city. The 'new' Aztex played their home games at the 6,500-seat House Park just west of the downtown Austin core, until that stadium was severely damaged by the 2015 Memorial Day floods; for the remainder of that season, they played at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex. Career College Dellorusso grew up in Columbia, Maryland, attended Wilde Lake High School, and played college soccer at the University of Maryland, College Park from 2001–05. Michael Shaun Chabala (born May 24, 1984) is an American former soccer player. Career Chabala played college soccer at the University of Washington, and also played with in the USL Premier Development League with both Yakima Reds and his hometown team, Fresno Fuego. Professional Chabala was drafted in the fourth round (44th overall) of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft by Houston Dynamo. He was loaned to Portland Timbers of the USL First Division during his first year with the Dynamo, making nine appearances. Ryan Caugherty (born September 23, 1982 in Seoul) is a Korean-born American soccer player, currently retired. Career Youth and College Caugherty grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended Penn Hills High School, where he was named Section Player of the Year, All-WPIAL, All-State, and All-American. Caugherty played for the Region 1 ODP team along with attending the ESP camp. He played club soccer for Penns Forest and Pittsburgh Beadling, respectively, leading the latter to the national championships his senior year. Caugherty played college soccer at Wake Forest University from 2001 to 2004. Career College and amateur Brown attended Carroll High School, and played college soccer for the University of Tulsa from 2001 to 2005, receiving All-Conference honors in all four years he played. Throughout his career at Tulsa he appeared in 77 games, scoring 38 goals and notching 28 assists. Career Youth and amateur Bernard attended Jonathan Grant High School in Jamaica where he was a multi-sport athlete, playing basketball and running track in addition to playing soccer.
