Julián Soler
Julián Díaz Pavia (17 February 1907 – 5 May 1977), better known by the stage name Julián Soler, was a Mexican film director, actor, and screenwriter of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. In his career spanning half a century, Soler received two Ariel Award nominations. Early life Julián Soler was born in Ciudad Jiménez, Chihuahua, as Julián Díaz Pavía on 17 February 1907 to Domingo Díaz García and Irene Pavía Soler. He was the elder brother of Mercedes Soler and the younger brother of Fernando Soler, Andrés Soler, and Domingo Soler. His family is known as the Soler Dynasty. Florencio Castelló (1905 – 23 August 1986) was a Spanish actor, known for participating in the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, acting alongside personalities of Mexican cinema such as Pedro Infante and Cantinflas. He usually played roles of a Spaniard with an Andalusian accent. He left Spain in 1936 fleeing the civil war in his country, joining a theater company in which he performed Andalusian works, which toured throughout Latin America until in 1939 he arrived in Mexico. Alfredo Salazar (March 10, 1942, in San Juan, Puerto Rico – November 11, 2023) was an economist by education and a banker by profession. He entered into public service and ran for an elected position affiliated with the Popular Democratic Party of Puerto Rico (PDP). He ran for the office of Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico in the United States Congress in the 2008 elections.
