Audun Boysen
Audun Boysen (10 May 1929 – 2 March 2000) was a Norway, Norwegian middle distance track event, middle distance runner. Born in Bjarkøy Municipality, Bjarkøy and raised in Rissa Municipality, Rissa, he first represented Rissa IL and later IK Tjalve in Oslo. Boysen was a prominent 800 metres, 800 metre runner in the 1950s, and he won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics, a silver medal at the 1958 European Championships in Athletics, 1958 European Championships and another bronze at the 1954 European Championships in Athletics, 1954 European Championships. He set three world records over 1,000 metres, the last being 2:19.0 in 1955. The same year he ran in 1:45.9, setting a new Norwegian record. Incidentally, the man who beat him in that race, Belgian Roger Moens, ran a world record time, with Boysen also under the old world record. ''Auðunar þáttr vestfirska'' (Old Norse: ; Modern ; ''The Tale of Auðun of the West Fjords'') is a short tale (or ''þáttr'') preserved in three distinct versions as part of the saga of Harald III of Norway (reigned 1047-1066, a.k.a. Audun Hultgreen Weltzien (born 3 September 1983) is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He competed at the 2009 World Orienteering Championships in Miskolc, where he placed 19th in the middle distance, and participated on the Norwegian relay team. In 2003 he won a silver medal in the relay at the Junior World Orienteering Championships. He represents the club IL Tyrving. Audun Tron (born 7 March 1945) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. From 1987 to 1999, Tron was the mayor of Lillehammer. As such he played a role in the 1994 Winter Olympics. During the first cabinet Stoltenberg, from 2000 to 2001, Tron was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government. Following the 2003 election, Tron became the new county mayor (''fylkesordfører'') of Oppland. Audun Østerås (born 20 January 1947) is a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Centre Party. He took the siv.øk. degree at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in 1972. He then worked as a high school teacher and farmer. He was a member of the municipal council of Høylandet Municipality from 1975 to 1983—sitting one four-year term as deputy mayor—and of Nord-Trøndelag county council from 1978 to 1987. From 1987 to 1994 he was the chief administrative officer of Høylandet, and from 1994 he was the chief administrative officer of Nord-Trøndelag County Municipality. Her's (also written as thatbandofhers) was an indie rock band from Liverpool, England composed of English guitarist and singer Stephen Fitzpatrick and Norwegian bassist and backing vocalist Audun Laading. They released a compilation album, ''Songs of Her's'' (2017), followed by a full-length studio album, ''Invitation to Her's'' (2018). The duo and their tour manager were killed in a road traffic collision in Arizona while touring the United States in 2019. Audun Kleive (born 20 October 1961) is a Norwegian jazz drummer.) He was raised in Skien and is the son of organist Kristoffer Kleive and brother of organist Iver Kleive. Career Kleive began to play drums in a rock and dance band, and then went to Oslo, where he studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music. He joined the jazz-rock groups Lotus (1981–83) and Oslo 13 (1981–84), and made his recording debut with the album ''Anti-therapy'' in 1983.
