Audiotopsy is an American alternative metal band from Peoria, Illinois, formed in 2015. Its current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Billy Keeton, lead guitarist James Vinson, bassist Perry Stern, and drummer Trevor Bodkins. The band previously included Mudvayne members Greg Tribbett and Matthew McDonough. History Formation and ''Natural Causes'' (2015–2017) The band formed in 2015 after Greg Tribbett left Hellyeah along with bassist Bob "Zilla" Kahaka. The band's debut studio album, ''Natural Causes'', was released on October 2, 2015, via Napalm Records. It was self-produced and engineered by Tim Laud. The tracks "Headshot" and "The Calling" premiered on Loudwire and Revolver respectively. Greg Tribbett
Gregory Arnold Tribbett Jr. (born November 7, 1968) is an American guitarist who is one of the founding members, lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the metal band Mudvayne. He is also the former lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the metal bands Audiotopsy and Hellyeah. He's been with Mudvayne from their inception in 1996 until their dissolution in 2010, and again from 2021 to now. He has named Randy Rhoads as the guitarist who most influenced him. Greg has 3 brothers; Derrick "Tripp" Tribbett, who previously played bass for Dope, and sang for Makeshift Romeo and Twisted Method, The Late Dustin "Diggz" Tribbett, once the bass player for Element, and Dead End Asylum, is now an independent musician and writer, and also Matt Tribbett, who was a drum technician for the American metal band Slipknot. Matthew McDonough
Matthew McDonough (born March 12, 1969) is an American drummer best known as a member of the heavy metal band Mudvayne. He is the band's original drummer and has appeared and performed on every release by Mudvayne. He was also the original drummer of Audiotopsy since 2015 until his departure in 2021. He holds a respected place in the world of drumming for his signature drumming style. Early life McDonough was born in Rockford, Illinois, he attended Rockford East High School and was a member of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. He was previously in a band called ''On the Shoulders of Giants''; as well as a band called Daed Kcis. He also lived in Washington, IL and went to Washington Community High School. Skrape was an American nu metal band formed in Orlando, Florida in 1997. History Skrape originally formed in 1997 under the name "Jojo", they later renamed to "Skrape" two years later. Mudvayne is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Peoria, Illinois, Peoria, Illinois, in 1996. Known for their sonic experimentation, face and body paint, masks and uniforms, the band has sold over five million records worldwide. ''Lost and Found'' is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Mudvayne. The album was released on April 12, 2005. The album had major success in the U.S., debuting at number 2 and being certified gold by the RIAA shortly afterward. It has sold about 1,000,000 copies as of August 2014 and is the band's most successful album to date. Production After opening for Metallica on the band's Summer Sanitarium tour in 2003, Mudvayne spent the holidays recuperating before starting work on the album.
