Audi Q8
The Audi Q8 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV coupé made by Audi that was launched in 2018. It is the flagship of the Audi SUV line, and is being produced at the Volkswagen Bratislava Plant. Overview BMW launched its coupe SUV in 2008, the BMW X6, and Mercedes-Benz followed suit in 2015 with the GLE-Class Coupe. Audi had been planning their own coupe SUV once the new body style became a sales success for other brands. Within the Volkswagen Group's product lineup, the Q8 shares its platform with the Q7 and the Lamborghini Urus, among other products. The Q8 is slightly shorter than the Q7 in terms of both length and height but is slightly wider. The Q8 has less cargo space than the Q7 due to its sloped roofline, and unlike the Q7, the Q8 is not available with third-row seats. Audi AG () is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. Gasoline direct injection (GDI), also known as petrol direct injection (PDI), is a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines that run on gasoline (petrol) which injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber. This is distinct from manifold injection systems, which inject fuel into the intake manifold (inlet manifold) where it mixes with the incoming airstream before reaching the combustion chamber.. BMW X6
The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV by German automaker BMW. The BMW X6 is the originator of the sports activity coupé (SAC), referencing its sloping rear roof design. It combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all-wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (styling featuring a sloping roof). Coupe SUV
A coupe SUV is a type of sport utility vehicle with a sloping rear roofline similar to those of fastbacks or Kammback, Kammbacks. The sloping roofline is adopted to offer a styling advantage compared to its standard SUV counterpart, which helps increase profit margins as manufacturers are able to raise the price by marketing it as a more premium model. Since all coupe SUVs ever produced are of the Crossover (automobile), crossover variety, coupe SUVs may also be called "coupe crossovers" or "coupe crossover SUVs". ZF 8HP Transmission
8HP is ZF Friedrichshafen AG's trademark name for its 8-speed automatic transmission models with hydraulic converter and planetary gearsets for longitudinal engine applications. Designed and first built by ZF's subsidiary in Saarbrücken, Germany, it debuted in 2008 on the BMW 7 Series (F01) 760Li sedan fitted with the V12 engine. BMW remains a major customer for the transmission. Another major customer is Stellantis, who both received a license to produce the transmission and set up a joint-venture plant with ZF.
