Atrocity (band)
Atrocity is a German metal band from Ludwigsburg that formed in 1985. History First started in 1985 as Instigators and playing grindcore, Atrocity arose as a death metal band with their debut EP, ''Blue Blood'', in 1989, followed soon by ''Hallucinations'', a concept album about drug use. Their second album, '' Todessehnsucht'' ("longing for death"), ventured into death metal classics with a cover of "Archangel" by the band Death. Their musical scope broadened over the years, incorporating medieval and horror influences on their 1994 Dracula-based concept album ''Atrocity's Blut'', (styled after the successful film '' Bram Stoker's Dracula''). ''Atrocity's Blut'' was followed by ''Calling the Rain'', an MCD with female vocals by guest singer Yasmin Krull and acoustic music. Atrocities (album)
''Atrocities'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Christian Death, released in 1986 through record label Normal. The album's subject matter deals almost exclusively with the Holocaust, including songs about Auschwitz and Josef Mengele. Recorded at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales it also featured the songwriting and arrangement skills of Barry Galvin, who, along with Johann Schumann, would leave the group upon the completion of ''Atrocities'' – both went on to form Mephisto Walz. It is the first Christian Death record with Valor Kand taking over main duties following Rozz Williams' departure. Atrocious (film)
''Atrocious'' is a 2010 Spanish found-footage horror film, written and directed by Fernando Barreda Luna, that was released in the United States (US) on August 17, 2011. The film relays the story of two siblings during an Easter holiday at their family's country house in Sitges; the brother decides to investigate a local urban legend involving the ghost of a missing girl named Melinda. The film was released as part of the Bloody Disgusting Selects line. Plot Cristian Quintanilla (Cristian Valencia) and his sister July (Clara Moraleda) have a web-show of paranormal investigations covering urban legends. When they are invited to spend the Easter holidays at the family's summer home, they intend to investigate the story of Melinda, a girl that went missing in 1940 and supposedly haunts the woods. Genocide
Genocide is violence that targets individuals because of their membership of a group and aims at the destruction of a people.
