Atlas Network
Atlas Network, formerly known as Atlas Economic Research Foundation, is a non-governmental, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States that provides training, networking, and grants for libertarian, free-market, and Conservatism, conservative groups around the world. Atlas Network was founded in 1981 by Antony Fisher, a British entrepreneur, who wanted to create a means to connect various Think tank, think tanks via a global network. Described as "a think tank that creates think tanks," the organization partners with nearly 600 organizations in over 100 countries. Antony Fisher
Sir Antony George Anson Fisher (28 June 1915 – 8 July 1988), nicknamed AGAF, was a British businessman and think tank founder. He participated in the formation of various neoliberal organisations during the second half of the 20th century, including the Institute of Economic Affairs and Atlas Network. Through Atlas Network, Fisher helped establish up to 150 other institutions worldwide. As of 2024, Atlas Network supports and works with over 500 free-market think tanks in over 100 countries. Linda Whetstone
Linda Whetstone (; 17 November 1942 – 15 December 2021) was a British libertarian, free market campaigner, and a significant figure in British equestrian sport. Whetstone was born in Binfield, Berkshire on 17 November 1942. Her father was Antony Fisher, founder of the Institute of Economic Affairs. She gained a degree by correspondence in Economics from the University of London. She was the first chairwoman of the British Equestrian Federation council, and was chairwoman of British Dressage from 2018. Other positions she held included Chairman of Atlas Network from 2016, President of the Mont Pelerin Society in 2020, Chairman of the Board of Free Social Networks from 2000, and Chairman of the International Policy Network. She was also on the boards of the Institute of Economic Affairs and the Islam and Liberty Network. The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) was a non-profit American think tank whose goals were to develop and promote private alternatives to government regulation and control. Topics it addressed include reforms in health care, taxes, Social Security, welfare, education, and environmental regulation.
