Ata Kakwi
Syed Shah Ataur Rahman (1907–18 March 1998) popularly known as Ata Kakwi was an Indian poet and writer. He was a contemporary of Wali Azimabadi, Akhtar Qadri, Azizuddin Balkhi and Fasihuddin Balkhi. He has served as the head of department for the Department of Persian of Patna University. He has been a director of Arabic and Persian Research Institute, Patna. He had served as the professor in Urdu, Arabic and Persian department of Langat Singh College, Muzaffarpur from 1937 to 1954 succeeding Dr. Abdul Majeed Akhtar. He was related to the Abulolai-Naqshbandi order of Sufism. He was the father of Arshad Kakvi, a known poet of Urdu-language. Patna University
Patna University is a public state university in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established on 1 October 1917 during the British Raj. It is the first university in Bihar and the seventh oldest university in the Indian subcontinent in the modern era. It offers different undergraduate and postgraduate degree level courses. Kako, Bihar
Kako is a town in Jehanabad district of Bihar, a state in northeastern India. Until 1984, Kako was a part of the Gaya district. In 2010, the town's state representation was shifted from the Jehanabad constituency to the Ghosi constituency of Bihar's Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly). Fasihuddin Balkhi (10 February 1885 – 14 March 1962) was an Indian author and historian. He belonged to the Khanqah Balkhia Firdausia, Fatuha, Patna. He was a contemporary of Ata Kakwi, Taqi Rahim, Shad Azimabadi and Shah Mohsin Danapuri. He was an active participant in the Non-cooperation Movement. His works include ''"Tarikh-e-Magadh"'', ''"Tazkira-e-Hindu Shora-e-Bihar"'' and ''"Wahabi Movement."'' Langat Singh College
Langat Singh College, commonly known as L.S.College,previously known as Bhumihar Brahmin college, is a college in Muzaffarpur, in the Indian state of Bihar. It was established on 3 July 1899, and is one of the city's oldest colleges. It is named after its founder Langat Singh. Naqshbandi
Naqshbandi (Persian: نقشبندیه) is a major Sufi order within Sunni Islam, named after its 14th-century founder, Baha' al-Din Naqshband. Practitioners, known as Naqshbandis, trace their spiritual lineage (silsila) directly to the Prophet Muhammad through the first caliph, Abu Bakr, via Ja'far al-Sadiq. This order is distinct for its strict adherence to Sharia and silent dhikr practices adopted from earlier Central Asian masters. Khuda Baksh Oriental Library
Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library is one of the national libraries of India, located in Patna, Bihar. It was opened to public on 29 October 1891 by Khan Bahadur Khuda Bakhsh with 4,000 manuscripts, of which he inherited 1,400 from his father Maulvi Mohammed Bakhsh. It is an autonomous organization under Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and is governed by a Board with the Governor of Bihar as its ''ex officio'' Chairman, and is known for its rare collection of Persian and Arabic manuscripts. Rekhta is an Indian web portal started by Rekhta Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Urdu literature. The Rekhta Library Project, its books preservation initiative, has successfully digitized approximately 200,000 books over a span of ten years.
