Alice Hoffman (born March 16, 1952) is an American novelist and young-adult and children's writer, best known for her 1995 novel '' Practical Magic'', which was adapted for a 1998 film of the same name. Blood transfusion is the process of transferring blood products into a person's circulation intravenously. Screening, in medicine, is a strategy used to look for as-yet-unrecognised conditions or risk markers. This testing can be applied to individuals or to a whole population.
