Beverwijk
Beverwijk () is a municipality and a city in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The town is located about northwest of Amsterdam in the Randstad metropolitan area, north of the North Sea Canal very close to the North Sea coast. BNNVARA
BNNVARA () is a broadcasting association and network within the Dutch public broadcasting system. History BNNVARA was founded on 1 January 2014 through a merger of the BNN (founded 1997) and VARA (founded 1925) associations. These continued to exist without broadcasting directly until 2018. In 2011 VARA and BNN announced that they would merge. On 6 November 2011 the members of VARA voted for the merger, after the member council of BNN had already done so a week earlier. The merger was opposed by the VVD and the Freedom Party. BNN and VARA announced on 8 February 2012 that the decision to merge was definite. On 1 September 2018, existing members of BNN and VARA were converted into members of BNNVARA, thus ending the separate member associations that still existed. (English: '2 for 12'), formerly , is a Dutch game show broadcast weekly on that country's public television system since 1971 by BNNVARA ( VARA until 2017). Joop Koopman hosted the original version of the program, which aired from 1971 to 1981. A revival, hosted by Astrid Joosten, has aired since 1991, and is broadcast on NPO 2 as of 2021. The program was the longest-running quiz program on Dutch television . Gameplay In the program, two teams of two contestants are given twelve questions to answer with the help of reference books and, in more recent editions, Dutch Wikipedia. Players cannot see if their answers are right or wrong until after the conclusion of the quiz, however, the viewing audience is shown (since the 1991 revival) which answers are right and which ones are wrong. The Order of Orange-Nassau ( nl, Orde van Oranje-Nassau, links=no) is a civil and military Dutch order of chivalry founded on 4 April 1892 by the queen regent, Emma of the Netherlands.
