Asteras Magoula Football Club ( el, Α.Ο. Αστέρας Μαγούλας) is a Greek football club, based in Magoula, West Attica. It was officially founded in 1980. Asteras spent the majority of its history in the Piraeus Football Clubs Association championships until 2003, when it joined the newly formed West Attica Football Clubs Association. On 25 June 2011, Asteras won the Greek Amateur Cup after beating Asteras Lianokladi 2–0. Magoula, Attica
Magoula ( el, Μαγούλα) is a suburban town of Athens and former community (pop. 4,992 in 2011) of West Attica, Greece. West Attica ( el, Δυτική Αττική) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of Attica. The Piraeus Football Clubs Association ( el, Ένωση Ποδοσφαιρικών Σωματείων Πειραιώς, abbreviated E.P.S.P. (Ε.Π.Σ.Π.) was founded in 1925 after the termination of E.P.S. Athens-Piraeus. It was the second largest football association in Greece and was officially recognized by FIFA alongside E.P.S. Athens, as the Hellenic Football Federation had not been established at the time.
