Association Of University Programs In Health Administration
The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) is a non-profit organization of university-based educational programs, faculty, practitioners, and health care provider organizations. It works to improve the delivery of health services through the educational of health care administrators. The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) is the accrediting body for graduate programs in healthcare management in the United States and Canada. Founded in 1968 as the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health Services Administration (ACEHSA), it adopted its current name in 2004 to reflect a change in strategic direction.
