Associated Press Video, also referred to as AP Video and AP Television News (abbreviated APTN), is a global video news agency operated by The Associated Press (AP).Not to be confused with Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) About AP Television News is the video division of the Associated Press. Voice-over (also known as off-camera or off-stage commentary) is a production technique used in radio, television, filmmaking, theatre, and other media in which a descriptive or expository voice that is not part of the narrative (i.e., non-diegetic) accompanies the pictured or on-site presentation of events.
