''Aspen Review Central Europe'' (also known as ''Aspen Review'') is an English-language quarterly magazine devoted to political, social, economic and cultural issues of Central Europe. History and profile ''Aspen Review Central Europe'' was established in 2012. It is published by Aspen Institute Central Europe, a Prague-based branch of the American Aspen Institute. The magazine features Central European political, social and economic issues. It contains analyses, interviews and commentaries by politicians, journalists, experts and scholars from Central Europe and the United States mostly. The editor-in-chief is Aleksander Kaczorowski, Polish publicist, journalist, and translator. Aspen Institute
The Aspen Institute is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1949 as the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C., but also has a campus in Aspen, Colorado, its original home. Its stated mission is to "drive change through dialogue, leadership, and action to help solve the greatest challenges of our time". Ivaylo Ditchev
Ivaylo Stefanov Ditchev (; 28 March 1955 – 6 November 2023) was a Bulgarian anthropologist. He was a professor of cultural anthropology at Sofia University. He also taught abroad, mainly in France and the United States. Biography Ivaylo Ditchev was born on 28 March 1955. He held a doctorate from Sofia and Paris-7 Denis Diderot University, Paris-7 universities. He focused on political culture and urban anthropology of Southeast Europe and the Balkans. Krytyka Polityczna
''Krytyka Polityczna'' (; "The Political Critique") is a network of Polish left-wing intellectuals. The network is based around a journal of the same name founded by Sławomir Sierakowski in 2002, but is open to voices from across the political spectrum. The name draws on the tradition of Young Poland’s (The Critique), a monthly magazine published by Wilhelm Feldman at the beginning of the 20th century, and on the samizdat which served as a forum for opposition writers and journalists in the 1970s and 1980s. Stance The aim of Krytyka Polityczna is to revive the tradition of engaged Polish intelligentsia. Ulrike Beate Guérot (born 1964 in Grevenbroich, West Germany) is a Berlin-based German political thinker and Founder and Director of the European Democracy Lab (EDL). In April 2016, the University for Continuing Education Krems appointed Ulrike Guérot as Professor for European Policy and the Study of Democracy. She was the head of the Department for European Policy and the Study of Democracy. From 2021 until March 2023, she held the professorship for European Politics at the University of Bonn.
