Aska, Georgia
Aska is an Unincorporated area#United States, unincorporated community in Fannin County, Georgia, Fannin County, in the U.S. state of Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. History "Aska" is a name derived from the Cherokee language meaning "winter house". Prior to European colonization, the area that is now Aska was inhabited by the Cherokee people and other Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. Joe Aska
Joe Aska (born July 14, 1972) is a former American football running back who played for the Oakland Raiders and the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL), as well as the New York/New Jersey Hitmen of the XFL. High school and college career Aska was an all-district tailback at Putnam City High School, where he also lettered in basketball and track & field. He won state titles in the 100 meters and 200 meters races. He then attended the University of Central Oklahoma. In 1994, as a junior, he led the Lone Star Conference in rushing with 1,629 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was also a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy, the award given to the best football player in Division II. Ivo Andrić ( sr-Cyrl, Иво Андрић, ; born Ivan Andrić; 9 October 1892 – 13 March 1975) was a Yugoslav novelist, poet and short story writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1961 Nobel Prize in Literature, 1961. Ivan Aska (born June 26, 1990) is a U.S. Virgin Islander-Puerto Rican professional basketball player for the New Taipei CTBC DEA of the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL).
