Asian Boxing
Asian Boxing is the continental federation for amateur boxing in Asia organized under World Boxing. It was established on November 26, 2024, after the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) held a meeting to decide on its affiliation with International Boxing Association (IBA). The majority of ASBC members voted to remain part of the IBA. ASBC President Pichai Chunhavajira resigned after the meeting to head the new federation. The Boxing Federation of India holds seven key positions within the new organization, including BFI president Ajay Singh, who was appointed to the board. Pichai Chunhavajira
Pichai Chunhavajira (, ) is a Thai politician who has served as Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Ministry of Finance since 2024. Prior to his political career, he served as the chair of the board of Bangchak Corporation from 2012 and as chairman of the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2024. Early life and education Pichai Chunhavajira, commonly known by his nickname "Bank," earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Accounting from Thammasat University. He later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA.
