Asia-Pacific Scout Region
The Asia-Pacific Scout Region is one of the five regions of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, with a World Scout Bureau Regional Support Center based in Makati, Philippines. The Asia-Pacific Region services Scouting in the land area of Asia, from Russia, parts of Central Asia, and the bulk of the Pacific Basin, with the exception of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and Palau, which are under the Interamerican Region by way of the Aloha Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Asia-Pacific Scout Region has witnessed the births and rebirths of national Scout organizations since the region was founded in 1969. Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia
The Pramuka Movement of Indonesia (), officially the Praja Muda Karana Scouting Movement (), is the national scouting organization of Indonesia. Scouting was founded in the Dutch East Indies in 1912, and Indonesia became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) in 1953. Regulated by the Pramuka Movement Act of 2010, all elementary and secondary schools must operate a scouting program; and membership was compulsory for students in elementary and secondary schools from 2013 to 2024. Ittihodi Scouthoi Tojikiston
The Ittihodi Scouthoi Tojikiston (, , ''Etehadih-e Eskauthai-ye Tajikâstan''), the national Scouting organization of Tajikistan, was founded in 1993, and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) on April 18, 1997. The coeducational Ittihodi Scouthoi Tojikiston has 511 members as of 2011. Tajikistan is the only one of the three Persian nations thus far whose Scouting is recognized by WOSM (see Afghanistan and Iran). The All-Russian Scout Association (ARSA; ) is a Scouting and public youth organization in Russia. ARSA is the recognized member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement for Russia as part of the Eurasian Scout Region, joining the Asia-Pacific Scout Region in October 2023, as the Eurasian Scout Region was dissolved. ARSA represents Russia internationally in Scouting and has an estimated membership of 15,000 (2018). The coeducational Organization of the Scout Movement of Kazakhstan (; , ''Organizatsiya Skautskogo Dvizheniya Kazakhstana'') was officially founded in 1992, and received World Organization of the Scout Movement recognition on January 16, 2008. World Scout Conference
The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM ) is the largest and, after the Order of World Scouts (formed in 1911), is the second-oldest international organization in the Scout Movement, having been established in 1922. It has 176 members. These members are national scout organizations that founded WOSM or have subsequently been recognised by WOSM, which collectively have around 43 million participants. Its operational headquarters is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, although it is legally based in Geneva, Switzerland. Suncheon (; ) is the largest city in South Jeolla Province, South Korea, with a population of 280,719 as of 2022. It is located in the southeast of the province and is a scenic agricultural and industrial city, known for tourist attractions, such as Suncheon Bay.
