Ashwini (actress)
Ashwini was an Indian actress, primarily in Telugu language, Telugu, Tamil language, Tamil and Malayalam language, Malayalam films. She appeared in more than 100 films in various South Indian languages. Career Ashwini made her debut as a child artiste in ''Bhakta Dhruva Markandeya'' and later shared screen space with Balakrishna Nandamuri, Balakrishna in Bhale Thammudu (1985 film), ''Bhale Thammudu'', Venkatesh (actor), Venkatesh in ''Kaliyuga Pandavulu'', Rajendra Prasad (actor), Rajendra Prasad in Station Master (1988 film), ''Station Master'', and Nagarjuna (actor), Nagarjuna in ''Aranyakanda (film), Aranyakanda.'' Filmography Death She died at the Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai on 23 September 2012. She was reported to have had a liver-related illness. R. Gopala () (ruled 750–768 CE) was the founder of the Pala dynasty, which was based in the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent. The last morpheme of his name ''Pala'' means "protector" and was used as an ending for the names of all the Pala monarchs. Pala does not suggest or indicate any ethnic or caste considerations of the Pala dynasty. He came to power in later half of eighth century AD in ''Bengal'' after being elected by a group of regional chieftains. Origins There are no inscriptions or monuments which may be definitely ascribed to the period of Gopala's ascendency to throne.
