Ashram Chowk
Ashram Chowk is a crossways located on the southeastern corner of the Delhi Ring Road . It is at the intersection of the Ring Road and Mathura Road from the ITO crossing, the Supreme Court, Pragati Maidan, Purana Quila, Nizamuddin Dargah and the Haryana border at Faridabad. Ashram Chowk flyover The Ashram Chowk Flyover Project, conducted by Consulting Engineering Services, was completed in 2001, and opened to traffic on 30 October of the same year. It passes over Ashram Chowk and helps to ease congestion towards the DND Flyway. Pragati Maidan is a venue for large exhibitions and conventions in the city of New Delhi, India. It has an area of nearly 150 acres (more than 625,000m2) of exhibition space, being among the biggest exhibition centers in India. It is owned, operated, controlled and managed by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the trade promotion agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. It is partially under redevelopment since 2018 for the ambitious International Exhibition & Convention Centre (IECC) project. DND Flyway
The Delhi–Noida Direct Flyway or DND Flyway is India's first 8-lane wide, long access-controlled expressway in Delhi NCR. It connects Maharani Bagh and Nizamuddin on the western side to Noida (Sector-15A) and Mayur Vihar on the eastern side of the Yamuna river. The Noida Toll Bridge Company Limited (NTBCL) operate and maintains it on build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis. The expressway, which was opened to the public in January 2001 was constructed by IL & FS. Faridabad is the most populous city in the Indian state of Haryana and a part of Delhi National Capital Region. Nizamuddin Dargah
Nizamuddin Dargah is the dargah (mausoleum) of the Sufi saint Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya (1238–1325 CE). Situated in the Nizamuddin West area of Delhi, the dargah is visited by thousands of pilgrims every week. The site is also known for its evening ''qawwali'' devotional music sessions. The descendants of Nizamuddin Auliya look after the whole management of dargah Sharif. Architecture The tombs of Amir Khusrau, Nizamuddin's disciple, and Jehan Ara Begum, Shah Jahan's daughter, are located at the entrance to the complex. Ziauddin Barani and Muhammad Shah are also buried here. Overall, the dargah complex has more than 70 graves. The complex was renovated and restored by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture around 2010. Purana Qila, Delhi
Purana Qila () is one of the oldest forts in Delhi, India. Built by the second Mughal Emperor Humayun and Surid Sultan Sher Shah Suri, it is thought by many to be located on the site of the ancient city of Indraprastha.
