Ashot Sahratyan
Ashot Aristakesovich Sahratyan (; , July 2, 1936 – November 20, 2015) was an Armenian-Russian poet, translator and artist. He was awarded the Golden Pushkin medal. Yerevan State University
Yerevan State University (YSU; hy, Երևանի Պետական Համալսարան, ԵՊՀ, ''Yerevani Petakan Hamalsaran''), also simply University of Yerevan, is the oldest continuously operating public university in Armenia. Founded in 1919, it is the largest university in the country. It is thus informally known as Armenia's "mother university" (Մայր ԲՈւՀ, ''Mayr Buh''). Of its 3,150 employees, 1,190 comprise the teaching staff, which includes 25 academicians, 130 professors, 700 docents (associate professors), and 360 assistant lecturers. Maxim Gorky Literature Institute
The Maxim Gorky Literature Institute (russian: Литературный институт им. А. М. Горького) is an institution of higher education in Moscow. It is located at 25 Tverskoy Boulevard in central Moscow. History The institute was founded in 1933 on the initiative of Maxim Gorky, a writer, founder of the socialist realism literary method, and a political activist. It received its current name at Gorky's death in 1936. The institute has been at the same location, not far from Pushkin Square, for more than seventy years, in a complex of historic buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
