Warisnagar is an assembly constituency in Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar. Kurmi is traditionally a non-elite tiller caste in the lower Gangetic plain of India, especially southern regions of Awadh, eastern Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar and Jharkhand.
