Ashghal
Ashghal () is the Public Works Authority of Qatar headquartered in Al Dafna, Doha. Ashghal was established based on the Emiri Decree issued by the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani on 20 January 2004, as an autonomous body to design, deliver and manage all infrastructure-related projects as well as public amenities of the state. Ashghal is responsible for the construction and maintenance of local roads, drainage systems, highways and public buildings like mosques, schools, hospital, health centers, parks, etc. Organizational structure The current president of Ashghal is Saad Ahmed Al Mohannadi. Saad Ahmed Al Mohannadi
Saad Ahmed Ibrahim Al Mohannadi (born in 1974 in Doha, ), is currently the President of the Qatari public works authority Ashghal. Saad is fluent in English. Biography Saad Al Mohannadi was appointed as the President of the Ashghal based on Emiri Decree No. 4 of 2017 as of January 4, 2017. Saad began his engineering career after graduating from Qatar University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Doha
Doha ( ) is the capital city and main financial hub of Qatar. Al Dafna
Al Dafna (Arabic: الدفنة) is a seaside district of the Qatari capital Doha located on the Persian Gulf. The district is rapidly developing into a central business district, and since the late 1990s dozens of skyscrapers have risen in the district, with over fifty more planned. The district is also home to the City Center mall, one of the Middle East's largest malls. The district was created in the mid-1980s following a massive land reclamation project along Doha's coastline, and started to develop in the mid-1990s. Currently, Al Dafna is rapidly becoming Doha's new downtown district and, with the massive amount of recent development towards the north of Doha, it is also rapidly becoming the new centre of the city.
