Ash Palmer
Ashley John Palmer (born 9 November 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for National football league club Chesterfield Career Palmer progressed through the Barnsley youth ranks but was released in February 2009 and signed for Scunthorpe United where he became youth team captain. Palmer signed his first professional contract in June 2010 on a one year deal. He made his professional debut on 30 August 2011, in the Football League Trophy 2–0 win over Hartlepool United at Glanford Park. He joined Southport on loan in January 2012. Later that season he joined Harrogate Town on loan and made his club debut in a 2–1 home defeat to Vauxhall Motors. He was released by Scunthorpe in May 2012. Palmer signed for Hinckley United in September 2012. He made his debut in a 2–0 home loss against Halifax Town a day later. In October, he moved, signing for Droylsden. Pontefract
Pontefract is a historic market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, England, east of Wakefield and south of Castleford. Glanford Park
Glanford Park is a football stadium in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England, and is the current home of team Scunthorpe United. Opened in 1988 at a construction cost of £2.5 million, it was the first new purpose-built Football League stadium to be built in England for 33 years, since Southend United moved to Roots Hall in 1955. The stadium is Scunthorpe's second ground, with the Iron having previously played at the Old Show Ground from 1899 to 1988. The ground's record attendance was set at 9,077 for a Football League Cup Third Round tie against Manchester United on 22 September 2010. The England national football C team (previously known as the England National Game XI and the England Semi-Pro national team) is the football team that represents England at non-league level.
