Ásbjǫrn skerjablesi (died 874), also known as Ásbjǫrn jarl skerjablesi, was a ruler of the Hebrides attested by ''Landnámabók'' and ''Droplaugarsona saga''. Asbjørn Tenden (born 9 April 1975) is a Norwegian footballer. From 1995 to 1996 he played 10 games in the Norwegian Premier League for SK Brann. In that period he scored one goal in the game against Ham-Kam at Brann Stadion on 27 August 1995 when he came on a substitute for Frank Strandli in the 89th minute. In the 1996 season he only played one league game as a substitute and left the club after the season. Before he left the club after the season he also got five minutes as a substitute in a game in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup against PSV Eindhoven. Asbjørn Edvin Sunde (12 December 1909 – 23 April 1985) was a Norwegian politician for the Communist Party of Norway, communist partisan during the Spanish Civil War, saboteur against the Nazi occupation of Norway during the Second World War, and a convicted Soviet spy. During the Second World War, from 1941 to 1944, Sunde's group, the '' Osvald Group'', carried out approximately 39 acts of sabotage and assassination against the German occupation forces and Norwegian collaborators. In 1954 he was convicted by Eidsivating Court of Appeal of treason and espionage in favour of the Soviet Union, and sentenced to eight years in prison. He was released from prison in 1959 after serving two thirds of his sentence. He was expelled from the Communist Party of Norway in 1970. Asbjørn Ruud (6 October 1919 – 26 March 1989) was a Norwegian ski jumper. Together with his brothers Birger and Sigmund he dominated international ski jumping in the 1930s. Ruud won a gold medal at the 1938 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Eight years later, he won the ski jumping competition at the Holmenkollen ski festival, the first held since the German occupation of Norway in 1940 during World War II. Asbjørn Engelhardt Midtgaard (born 20 September 1997) is a Danish professional basketball player. He last played for the Antwerp Giants of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Wichita State Shockers and the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Early life and career Midtgaard grew up playing handball and football, as well as weightlifting and judo. He started playing basketball at age 14, and joined the Hørsholm 79ers of the Basketligaen, the top professional league in Denmark, three years later. In the 2016–17 season, he averaged 8.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game and was named Basketligaen Young Player of the Year. Asbjørn Lindboe (19 June 1889 – 8 March 1967) was a Norwegian politician of the Agrarian Party who served as Minister of Justice from 1931–1933 under prime ministers Peder Kolstad and Jens Hundseid. He later served as County Governor of Nord-Trøndelag from 1946–1959. Lindboe was the son of Trondheim lawman and parliamentary representative Jacob Albert Lindboe (Liberal). He became an MSc. in 1914, and was a deputy clerk in Nordfjord 1914–1915, an attorney at Trondheim City Attorney General 1915–1919 and a private practice lawyer in Trondheim 1919–1931 (Supreme Court Attorney from 1925). He was then Minister of Justice in the Agrarian Party Governments of Kolstad and Hundseid from 1931 to 1933.
