Larry Mize
Lawrence Hogan Mize (born September 23, 1958) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and currently plays on the Champions Tour. He is well known for one career-defining shot – a chip from off the green at the 11th hole at Augusta to win the playoff for the 1987 Masters Tournament, which is his only major title to date. He is also the only winner of that tournament to come from Augusta. Biography Mize was born in Augusta, Georgia, and worked during his teenage years at the Masters Tournament as a scoreboard operator on the 3rd hole. He attended Georgia Tech. Mize turned professional in 1980. He finished in the top 125 on the money list (the level needed to retain membership of the tour) for 20 seasons from 1982 to 2001. His first PGA Tour win was the 1983 Danny Thomas Memphis Classic. In 1986, at the Kemper Open, Mize lost a six-hole playoff to Greg Norman. Noboru Sugai
Noboru Sugai is a Japanese professional golfer. Sugai was born in Tokyo, to a Japanese father and a Russian mother. He turned professional in 1975 and has won three tournaments and over 275 million ¥ on the Japan Golf Tour. Roger Mackay
Roger J. Mackay (31 March 1956 – 17 June 2002) was an Australian professional golfer. Early life Mackay was educated at Christ Church Grammar School and graduated from the University of Western Australia. Professional career In 1983, Mackay turned professional and played on both the PGA Tour of Australasia and the Japan Golf Tour. His greatest successes came in Japan, where he won on eight occasions including finishing second on the money list in 1991. In Australia he is best remembered for his 1987 win at the Australian PGA Championship. He also won the 1987 Victorian Open by a shot over Greg Norman. Mackay last played professional golf in 2001. Personal life Mackay died in Perth at the age of 46 in 2002 as a result of lymphoma. He was survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. Tsuneyuki "Tommy" Nakajima (; born 20 October 1954) is a Japanese professional golfer. Career Nakajima was born in Gunma. He turned professional in 1975. He has won 48 events on the Japan Golf Tour, ranking third on the most Japan Golf Tour wins list. He also was the leading money winner four times in five years: 1982, 1983, 1985 and 1986. He is second on the career money list (through 2009). Nakajima featured in the top 5 of the Official World Golf Rankings and was ranked in the top-10 for 85 weeks from their debut in 1986 to 1987.
