Asa Smith (October 23, 1829 – September 29, 1907) was Warden of the Borough of Norwalk, Connecticut from 1863 to 1865, from 1870 to 1871 and from 1873 to 1874. The Connecticut State Senate is the upper house of the Connecticut General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Connecticut. The state senate comprises 36 members, each representing a district with around 99,280 inhabitants. Senators are elected to two-year terms without term limits. Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States.
