Arz (river)
The Arz ( br, Aer) is a long river in the Morbihan ''departments of France, département'', northwestern France. Its source is at Plaudren. It flows generally east-southeast. It is a right tributary of the Oust into which it flows at Saint-Jean-la-Poterie, near Redon. Oust
The Oust (; br, Oud) is a river in Brittany, France, right tributary of the Vilaine. It is long. Its source is in the hills between Corlay and Quintin. It flows generally southeast, through the following ''départements'' and towns: * Côtes-d'Armor: Uzel * Morbihan: Rohan, Josselin, Malestroit * Ille-et-Vilaine: Redon The Oust flows into the river Vilaine in Redon. Molac
Molac (; br, Moulleg) is a commune in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France. Geography The river Arz forms most of the commune's south-western border, then flows eastward through the south-eastern part of the commune. Molac is located in the heart of a forest-covered region called in french the Landes de Lanvaux. The village centre is located east of Vannes. Saint-Jacut-les-Pins
Saint-Jacut-les-Pins (; ) is a commune in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France. Geography The river Arz forms all of the commune's northern boundary. History The Celtic Veneti, and then the Romans occupied the area in Classical times. In the High Middle Ages, Britons founded several villages, Bodnaga, Brehadou Guidemais, Bina, Redillac, Brandicoet, and Calleon to name just a few of their towns in the area. The name Saint-Jacut-les-Pins comes from a 6th-century Saint Jacut, who arrived with the British emigrants as a boy and established a church nearby. The parish suffered heavily in the French Revolution.
