Arttu Heinonen
Arttu Heinonen (born 22 April 1999) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Veikkausliiga club KuPS. Club career Heinonen played in the youth sector of Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS), and debuted in the senior level in 2017 with associate club PK-37 in the third-tier Kakkonen. In 2019, Heinonen won the Finnish championship title with KuPS first team, and in 2021 they were crowned the Finnish Cup champions. He played in the KuPS organisation until the end of 2021, when he joined a fellow Veikkausliiga club FC Lahti for the 2022 season. After a lone year in Lahti, Heinonen returned to KuPS. On 20 October 2023, he signed a two-year extension with the club until the end of 2025. In September 2024, Heinonen and KuPS won the Finnish Cup title, and in late October they won the Finnish championship title, completing the club's first-ever double. 2025 Veikkausliiga
The 2025 Veikkausliiga is the 95th season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. Veikkaus is the league's sponsor. Teams The league consisted of twelve teams; ten teams remaining from the previous season, and two teams promoted from the Ykkösliiga. KuPS entered the season as defending champions. Team changes KTP were promoted as champions of the 2024 Ykkösliiga (returning to the top flight after a single year of absence), replacing EIF (relegated after a single season), the bottom-placed team of the 2024 Veikkausliiga. 2024 Kuopion Palloseura Season
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. The 2023 Veikkausliiga was the 93rd season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. The winners ( HJK, their fourth successive title win and thirty-third overall) qualified for the Champions League first qualifying round. The 2023 Finnish Cup winners (Ilves) qualified for the Conference League second qualifying round. The second-placed team (KuPS) and Conference League play-off winners ( VPS) qualified for the Conference League first qualifying round. Reipas Lahti
Reipas Lahti is a sports club based in Lahti, Finland. It is involved in various of ball games and also other sports. The club emerged in the late 1940s, when the inhabitants of Viipuri had mostly been relocated in Lahti, after evacuation during World War II. As a consequence, the activities of Viipurin Reipas, which had been founded in 1891, were continued in the new home town of the evacuees. The name of the club was still Reipas Viipuri until 1962, when the ball game section became simply Reipas. Reipas has played in top-flight football, ice hockey and bandy, with particular success in football. In bandy, Reipas last appeared in top flight in 1967, but then discontinued its involvement in this sport the following year.
