Arthur Atta
Arthur Atta (born 14 January 2003) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Italian club Udinese. Career Atta is a youth product of AS Saint Jacques, Rennes and Metz. As a youth he played as goalkeeper, winger and forward, before moving back to play as defensive midfielder. He was promoted to Metz's reserves in 2021. He made his professional debut with Metz in a 0–0 Ligue 2 tie with Niort on 26 December 2022, where he was named man of the match. On 25 January 2023, he signed his first professional contract with Metz until 2026. On 30 August 2024, Atta joined Udinese in Italy on loan with an option to buy. The Championnat National 2, commonly known as National 2 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur (CFA), is a Association football, football league competition. The league serves as the fourth tier of French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and Championnat National. Contested by 48 clubs, the Championnat National 2 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National and Championnat National 3, the fifth division of French football.
