Peter Hayden
Peter John Hayden (born 1948/49) is a New Zealand actor, and television series writer, producer and presenter. Hayden is known to New Zealand audiences as the writer and narrator of nature documentaries series including ''Wild South'' and ''Journeys Across Latitude 45''. Early life Hayden grew up in Napier, and attended Marist Primary School and St John’s College. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Massey University in 1972. In 1973, Hayden graduated from the QE II Arts Council Drama School, and was an apprentice actor at Downstage Theatre for two years. He worked as a reporter/ director for TVNZ at Avalon Studios, Lower Hutt, on the programmes ''Today at One'' and '' Country Calendar''. Lee Grant (New Zealand Actress)
Leonara Elizabeth Grant (3 August 1931 – 22 July 2016), known professionally as Lee Grant or Miss Lee Grant, was an English-born New Zealand actress and singer. Born in Carshalton, Surrey, England, on 3 August 1931, Grant moved to New Zealand in the 1960s and became a naturalised New Zealand citizen in December 1980.''Sunday Star Times''. 30 October 1994. p. Rawiri Paratene
Peter David Broughton , generally known as Rawiri Paratene, is a New Zealand stage and screen actor, director and writer. He is known for his acting roles in ''Whale Rider'' (2002) and ''The Insatiable Moon'' (2010). Biography Paratene was born at Motukaraka, near Kohukohu, Hokianga, New Zealand, and is of Ngāpuhi descent. He grew up in the south Auckland suburb of Ōtara, and attended Hillary College as David Broughton, the English form of his name. Paratene's parents were Boyd Alex Broughton and Patricia Charlotte Hancy. Paratene initially struggled with reading and writing at school, but went on to be the first Māori graduate of the New Zealand Drama School. Māori People
Māori () are the Indigenous peoples of Oceania, indigenous Polynesians, Polynesian people of mainland New Zealand. Māori originated with settlers from East Polynesia, who arrived in New Zealand in several waves of Māori migration canoes, canoe voyages between roughly 1320 and 1350.
