Arrive Alive
''Arrive Alive'' is an unfinished comedy film directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik and starring Willem Dafoe and Joan Cusack. It was produced by Art Linson. Premise Mickey Crews is a house detective in a seedy Florida hotel who gets involved in investigating the death of a former champion boxer. He has a romance with a former exotic dancer named Joy. Background The script was written by Mitch Glazer and Michael O'Donoghue who had written ''Scrooged'' (1988) for producer Art Linson. Linson had tried to get ''Arrive Alive'' made for a number of years, with a variety of stars attached, before finally securing funding with Chechik, Dafoe and Cusack. Cusack was an up-and-coming actress, working on ''Saturday Night Live'', Dafoe was getting terrific buzz from '' The Last Temptation of Christ'' and Chechik had just directed the successful ''National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation''. Lolita (born ), formerly known as ''Tokitae'', is a female orca from the L pod of Southern resident orcas. She has been in captivity at the Miami Seaquarium in Florida since September 24, 1970. As of 2022, Lolita is the second oldest orca in captivity behind Corky at SeaWorld San Diego. McKenna, Cara 2020 Life Lolita is a member of the L Pod of southern resident orcas. She was captured from the wild on August 8, 1970 in Penn Cove, Puget Sound, Washington as part of the Penn Cove capture when she was approximately four years old. Miami Seaquarium
The Miami Seaquarium is a oceanarium located on the island of Virginia Key in Biscayne Bay, Miami-Dade County, Florida located near downtown Miami. Founded in 1955, it is one of the oldest oceanariums in the United States. In addition to marine mammals, the Miami Seaquarium houses fish, sharks, sea turtles, birds, reptiles, and manatees. The park offers daily presentations and hosts overnight camps, events for boy scouts, and group programs. Over 500,000 people visit the facility annually. The park has around 225 employees, and its lease payments and taxes make it the third-largest contributor to Miami-Dade County's revenue. History The park was founded by Fred D.
