Arquimedez Pozo
Arquimedez Pozo Ortiz (born August 24, 1973) is a Dominican former professional baseball player. He played parts of three seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) in the mid-1990s for the Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox. He also played one season each in Nippon Professional Baseball and the Korea Baseball Organization. Pozo's primary position was third base, and he occasionally played second base. Career Pozo was signed as an undrafted amateur free agent by the Seattle Mariners in August 1990. He spent three years in the Mariners' minor league system, advancing from the Class A Short-Season Bellingham Mariners to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. Pozo made his major league debut on September 12, 1995, with Seattle, hitting a pop out in one at bat; it was his only MLB appearance with the Mariners. Class A Short-Season
Class A Short Season (officially Short-Season A) was a level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States from 1965 through 2020. In the hierarchy of minor league classifications, it was below Triple-A, Double-A, Class A-Advanced (created in 1990), and Class A. Teams in Class A Short Season played about 75 to 80 games per season, compared to the 130- to 140-game seasons of most professional baseball minor leagues. A run batted in or runs batted in (RBI) is a statistic in baseball and softball that credits a batter for making a play that allows a run to be scored (except in certain situations such as when an error is made on the play). For example, if the batter bats a base hit which allows a teammate on a higher base to reach home and so score a run, then the batter gets credited with an RBI. Edward Adrian Guardado (born October 2, 1970) is an American former Major League Baseball relief pitcher and current bullpen coach. Guardado played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins (–, ), Seattle Mariners (–), Cincinnati Reds (–), and the Texas Rangers (Two separate stints in and ). The Pawtucket Red Sox, known colloquially as the PawSox, were a professional minor league baseball club based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Jeffrey Paul Manto (born August 23, 1964) is an American former journeyman baseball player and hitting coach. Manto is currently the head coach of the Conwell-Egan Catholic High School baseball team. He is the former manager of the Trenton Thunder of the MLB Draft League. He is a member of eight Halls of Fame. In baseball, an at bat (AB) or time at bat is a batter's turn batting against a pitcher. An at bat is different from a plate appearance.
