or is the List of islands of Norway by area, 15th largest island in Norway. The island is located in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms county. The highest peak is the tall mountain Arnøyhøgda. There are regular ferry connections to the island from the nearby islands of Laukøya and Kågen, but there are no road connections to the island. Arnøy Church is located on the southern shore of the island. The villages of Årviksand, Arnøyhamn, Akkarvik, and Lauksletta are located on the island. The island of Laukøya is located just to the east, Skjervøya and Kågen are to the southeast, and Vanna (Troms), Vannøya is to the west. The Ullsfjorden lies to the west, the Lyngen (fjord), Lyngen fjord lies to the south, the Kvænangen (fjord), Kvænangen fjord lies to the east, and the Norwegian Sea lies to the north. Skjervøy Municipality (, ; ) is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Troms Counties of Norway, county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the Skjervøy (village), town of Skjervøy on the island of Skjervøya, where most of the inhabitants live. Vanna (Troms)
or is a rocky island in Karlsøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. At , Vanna is the 17th largest island in Norway by area. The highest peak is the mountain Vanntinden at a height of above sea level. The population of the island (2017) is 799. Vannvåg and Vannareid are the two main population centres on the island. Sengskroken Church is located on the western coast of the island. The islands of Nordkvaløya and Helgøya lie to the west of the island, and Nord-Fugløya and Arnøya lie to the east of it. or is an island in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. The island lies between the Kvænangen fjord (to the east) and the Lyngen fjord to the west. The island is home to 27 inhabitants (2001). The island is mountainous with several peaks over above sea level. The highest point is the tall mountain ''Store Kågtind''. Kågen is the 52nd largest island in Norway. Arnøy Church
Arnøy Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of Arnøyhamn on the island of Arnøya. It is one of the two churches for the Skjervøy parish which is part of the Nord-Troms prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The brown, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1978 using plans drawn up by the architect Harry Gangvik. The church seats about 250 people. Kvænangen (fjord)
, , or (sometimes anglicized as the ''Kvænang Fjord'') is a fjord in Troms county, Norway. The fjord runs through Skjervøy Municipality and Kvænangen Municipality. Geography The long fjord stretches from the Norwegian Sea to the village of Kvænangsbotn. The Reisafjorden is a large fjord which branches off the Kvænangen fjord to the west and the Badderfjorden branches off to the east. The European route E06 highway crosses the fjord on the Sørstraumen Bridge where the fjord is only about wide, just west of the village of Sekkemo. There are a number of islands in the fjord. On the west side of the fjord are the islands of Arnøya, Laukøya, Skjervøya, and Kågen. The smaller islands of Haukøya, Rødøya, Skorpa, Nøklan, and Spildra are located in the middle of the fjord. Akkarvik
Akkarvik is a small village along the Langfjorden in Skjervøy Municipality, in the northern part of Troms county, Norway. It is located about south of the village of Årviksand and about west of the village of Arnøyhamn on the south side of the island of Arnøya or is the List of islands of Norway by area, 15th largest island in Norway. Lyngen Alps
The Lyngen Alps (, , ) are a mountain range in northeastern Troms county in Norway, east of the city of Tromsø. The mountain range is located on the Lyngen Peninsula and it runs through Lyngen Municipality, Balsfjord Municipality, Storfjord Municipality, and Tromsø Municipality. The mountains follow the western shore of the Lyngen fjord in a north–south direction. The length of the range is at least (depending on definition—there are mountains all the way south to the border with Sweden) and the width is . The mountains dominate the Lyngen Peninsula, which is bordered by the Lyngen fjord to the east, and the Ullsfjorden to the west. There are 140 glaciers in the mountains covering about of the Lyngen Peninsula at present. Norwegian Sea
The Norwegian Sea (; ; ) is a marginal sea, grouped with either the Atlantic Ocean or the Arctic Ocean, northwest of Norway between the North Sea and the Greenland Sea, adjoining the Barents Sea to the northeast. In the southwest, it is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a submarine ridge running between Iceland and the Faroe Islands. To the north, the Jan Mayen Ridge separates it from the Greenland Sea. Unlike many other seas, most of the bottom of the Norwegian Sea is not part of a continental shelf and therefore lies at a great depth of about two kilometres on average. Rich deposits of oil and natural gas are found under the sea bottom and are being explored commercially, in the areas with sea depths of up to about one kilometre.
