Arnfinn Bårdsen
Arnfinn Bårdsen (born 11 July 1966) is a Norwegian judge. He was born in Stavanger, graduated as cand.jur. from the University of Bergen in 1992 and took the dr.juris degree in 1999. He worked as an associate professor at the University of Bergen from 1992 to 2003, except for the period 1994 to 1995 when he was an acting deputy judge in Jæren. From 2003 to 2008 he was a presiding judge in Gulating Court of Appeal. He is a Supreme Court Justice from 2008. Olav Arnfinn Laudal (born 19 June 1936) is a Norwegian mathematician. Early life and education O.A. Laudal was born in Kirkenes as the son of teachers Trygve Laudal (1896–1964) and Agnes Mønnesland (1898–1982). He examen artium, finished his secondary education in 1954 in Mandal, Norway, Mandal, and enrolled in the University of Oslo in the same year. He studied at École Normale Supérieure from 1957, but in 1958 he was back in Oslo and took the cand.real. degree. Mathematical career Laudal was a research fellow at Columbia University and Institut Henri Poincaré between 1959 and 1962. He was appointed as lecturer at the University of Oslo in 1962, was promoted to docent in 1964 and was a professor from 1985 to 2003. Arnfinn Vik (20 May 1901 – 13 September 1990) was a Norwegian politician who served as Mayor of Oslo. He was born at Drammen in Buskerud, Norway. He participated in the Left Communist Youth League's military strike action of 1924. He was convicted for assisting in this crime and sentenced to 4 months of prison. He was secretary of the Oslo Labour Party in 1936 and was a member of the Oslo City Council from 1938. He was a central resistance member during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany (1940-1945) and served as a leader of the Norwegian resistance group, ''Hjemmefrontens Ledelse''. Arnfinn Severin Roald
Arnfinn Severin Roald (26 June 1914 – 16 January 1983) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Vigra Municipality. Roald represented Møre og Romsdal. He was never elected directly to the Norwegian Parliament but rather served as a deputy representative in the periods 1945–1949, 1950–1953, 1954–1957 and 1958–1961. During the third term he was brought in as a replacement representative for Ulrik Olsen, who was appointed to the Cabinet at that time, after Olsen's original replacer Peter Kjeldseth Moe formally moved up in the line of succession to replace Anton Ludvik Alvestad who died in July 1956. Arnfinn Nesset (born 25 October 1936) is a Norwegian former nurse, nursing home manager, and a convicted serial killer. His crimes include the murders of at least 22 people, as well as attempted murder, document forgery, and embezzlement. He may have murdered up to 138 people. In 1983, he was convicted of poisoning 22 patients and sentenced to 21 years in prison. He served 12 years and 10 years of supervision and is thought to be living under an assumed name. Early life Nesset was born in Trøndelag in 1936 out of wedlock and raised by his mother, living with her throughout his upbringing and adulthood at her childhood home. His father was absent from his life and never established contact with him. Arnfinn Nergård (born 4 April 1952) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. Arnfinn Moland (born 25 August 1951) is a Norwegian historian. He was born in Kvinesdal. He finished his secondary education in Flekkefjord in 1970, served in His Majesty the King's Guard from 1973 to 1974, and graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.philol. degree in 1977. His master's thesis was ''Prissubsider eller støtte? Striden om melkeparagrafen 1972''. From 1977 to 1978 he took a pedagogical education. He was also active in athletics. Representing Kvinesdal IL, he achieved a long jump of 6.91 metres in July 1978 at Lovisenlund in Larvik. He had 14.34 metres in the triple jump, achieved in July 1978 at Stovnerbanen in Oslo. Hailing from Trondheim, he trained harness racing horses at Leangen Travbane before moving to Øvrevoll Galoppbane in 1957. Arnfinn Bergmann (14 October 1928 – 13 February 2011) was a ski jumper from Norway. He won the individual large hill event at the 1952 Olympics and 1952 Holmenkollen ski festival and placed third at the 1950 World Championships. In 1956 he was awarded the Holmenkollen medal (shared with Borghild Niskin and Arne Hoel). As a junior Bergmann won the national title and the ski jumping competition in Holmenkollen in 1948. The same year he won the national football title with SK Freidig. Next year he started competing as a senior and placed third at the national championships. In 1950 he was included to the national team and unexpectedly won a bronze medal at the world championships. For the 1950–51 season he stayed in Canada, where he won his every competition. Arnfinn Hofstad (born 16 March 1934) is a Norwegian businessperson. Hofstad hails from Stiklestad in Verdal Municipality, Norway. He took the siv.øk. degree at the Norwegian School of Economics in 1958, started working in Asbjørn Habberstad AS before being hired in Nordenfjelske Treforedling in Skogn Municipality in 1963. After a period from 1972 to 1980 as chief executive officer in Bøndernes Salgslag, he returned to the paper industry as vice chief executive in Norske Skogindustrier.
