Arne Ekeberg
Arne Ekeberg (born 1925) is a Norwegian judge and civil servant. Ekeberg was born in Fusa and graduated from the University of Oslo with a cand.jur. degree in 1950. After one year as a junior solicitor, he worked in the Ministry of Local Government from 1952 to 1956. Fusa
Fusa () is a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. It existed from 1856 until its dissolution in 2020. It was located east of the city of Bergen in the Midhordland region. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Eikelandsosen. Other villages in the municipality include Fusa (village), Fusa, Holdhus, Holmefjord, Vinnes, Strandvik, and Sundvord. The Frank Mohn company's Fusa marine division is headquartered here, with almost 500 employees. Gulating Court Of Appeal
The Gulating Court of Appeal ( no, Gulating lagmannsrett) is one of six courts of appeal in the Kingdom of Norway. The Court is located in the city of Bergen. The court has jurisdiction over the counties of Vestland and Rogaland plus Sirdal Municipality in Agder county. These areas constitute the Gulating judicial district ( no, Gulating lagdømme). Nikolai Schei
Nikolai Andreas Schei (9 May 1901 – 25 May 1985) was a Norwegian jurist and civil servant. He was born in Førde as the son of Per Schei (1872–1960) and Johanne Schei (1874–1963). He was a brother of Andreas Schei, and through him an uncle of Chief Justice Tore Schei. He took his examen artium in 1925, and took the cand.jur. degree in 1928. He also worked part-time as an assistant in the Ministry of Justice and the Police. He left in 1929, was a deputy judge in Sunnfjord for a short time before working for the counties of Møre og Romsdal from 1929 to 1931 and Oslo-Akershus from 1931 to 1934. In April 1933 he married Othilia Helberg Christensen (1901–1991), a daughter of Ingolf Elster Christensen. In 1934 he was appointed as inspector in a national arbitration institution, which was led by Carl Platou. In 1939 Schei was hired by the newly established Ministry of Provisioning. Leikanger () is a former municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It was located on the northern shore of the Sognefjorden in the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative center was the village of Hermansverk, which also was the administrative center of the old Sogn og Fjordane county. The Leikanger/Hermansverk urban area had 2,144 inhabitants (2019), about 90% of the municipal population. Sogn District Court ( no, Sogn tingrett) was a district court in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The court was based in the village of Sogndalsfjøra. The court existed from 2005 until 2017. Ingvald Ulveseth
Ingvald Johan Ulveseth (born 25 August 1924 in Fjell, died 14 March 2008) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. In 1964, during the third cabinet Gerhardsen, he was appointed state secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Labour. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1965, and was re-elected on one occasion. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the term 1961–1965. During the second cabinet Bratteli from 1973 to 1976, Ulveseth was appointed Minister of Industry. On the local level he was a member of Fjell municipality council from 1955 to 1967, serving as mayor from 1958 to 1965. From 1958 to 1965 he was also a member of Hordaland county council. His career in politics ended with the post of County Governor of Sogn og Fjordane, which he held from 1976 to 1994.
