Armorines
Armorines is a fictional superhero team from Valiant Comics about armored marines who, in the name of freedom, do the United States government's dirty work. The Armorines armor first appeared on the last page ''X-O Manowar'' #24 (January 1994), but the entire Armorines fully appeared in ''Armorines'' #0 (February 1994) which is a special comic insert in ''X-O Manowar'' #25 (February 1994). Fictional team biography The U.S. Government took X-O Manowar as a threat. The Armorines were created by Dr. Phillip Zahn to deal with this threat. After they got the go ahead on the project from Senator Ackerman, Colonel Gardner recruited eight soldiers to function as the Armorines. José Delbo (born José María Del Bó; December 9, 1933 – February 5, 2024) was an Argentine comics artist. He was best known for his work on ''Wonder Woman'' for DC Comics and '' The Transformers'' for Marvel Comics. Life and career José María Del Bó was born on December 9, 1933. John Dixon (20 February 1929 - 7 May 2015) was an Australian comic book artist and writer, best known for his comic strip creation, ''Air Hawk and the Flying Doctors'' (which ran from 1959 until 1986). Biography John Dangar Dixon was born in Newcastle, New South Wales, Newcastle on 20 February 1929, the son of a school principal. After completing his education at Cook Hill Intermediate High he became a trainee window dresser at a softgoods company.
