Arminas Narbekovas
Arminas Narbekovas (born 28 January 1965 in Gargždai) is a former Lithuanian football (soccer), footballer who played as a midfielder. In 2003, he was selected by UEFA as his country's UEFA Jubilee Awards, Golden Player, the greatest player of the past 50 years. Personal life Arminas Narbekovas was born to a Volga Tatars, Tatar father Andrey Narbekov and a Lithuanians, Lithuanian mother. Career Narbekovas made his debut in 1983 with Žalgiris Vilnius, Lithuania's sole representative in the Soviet Top League, at the age of 18. In 1987, he finished second in league scoring with 16 goals while leading his club to a third-place finish, their best in history. Zalgiris would then participate in the UEFA Cup for the first time, losing to FK Austria Wien, Austria Vienna. Austria would become Narbekovas' destination after Lithuanian players were allowed to move abroad. Arminas Urbutis (born 15 May 1986) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Palmer Basket Mallorca of the Spanish LEB Plata. Standing at , Urbutis plays as power forward. Early life Urbutis started playing basketball in a basketball school in Kaunas. After a few years of learning basketball in his hometown, he decided to go to the United States. There, he played at Montverde Academy. College career Urbutis played college basketball at the Hofstra University, with the Hofstra Pride. Playing career After graduating from Hofstra University, Urbutis went to Italy for basketball summer camps, where he was spotted by Bennet Cantù coaching staff. Arminas Lydeka (born 21 February 1968) is a Lithuanian politician of the Liberals' Movement (Lithuania), Liberals' Movement. He has been a member of the Seimas since 2020, having previously served from 2000 to 2012 and from 2014 to 2016.
