Armed Reaction () is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Esther Kwan as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu and Joe Ma in main supporting roles. Original broadcast of the series began on TVB Jade channel from July 6 till July 31, 1998 at 9:30-10:30 p.m. timeslot with 20 episodes total. The popularity of the drama spawned 4 sequels (''Armed Reaction II'', '' Armed Reaction III'', '' Armed Reaction IV'', and '' Armed Reaction 2021''). In mainland China, the drama title is "女警本色", which means "The True Colour of Policewomen". ''Armed Reaction IV'' () is a Hong Kong modern cop drama released overseas in August 2003. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Ada Choi as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu, Frankie Lam and Yoyo Mung in main supporting roles. Original broadcast of the series began on TVB Jade channel from February 2 till April 9, 2004 at 9:30-10:30 p.m. timeslot with 40 episodes total. The company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. Angela Tong (born 30 June 1975) is a Hong Kong actress. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with family roots in Shunde, Guangdong, China. She was Miss Chinese Montreal 1995. Lee Shing-cheong (; born 11 October 1957) is a Hong Kong TVB actor. He also goes by the name Henry Lee. Career Acting Lee graduated from the 8th TVB Training Class in August 1979. He landed his first role in Hong Kong '81, one of TVB's long-running series, and was notable for the role of Michael in ''Looking Back In Anger'', one of TVB's most popular dramas to date. Emotion Cheung (Chinese: 張錦程; born December 20, 1965) is a Hong Kong male artist. His English name, Emotion, is a homophone of his Chinese name, "Kam-ching". He was active in Hong Kong stage plays, television and film industries in his early years, and later went to China to develop his acting career. Au-Yeung Tsan-wah (born 28 July 1960), earlier known as Bobby Au-yeung, is a Hong Kong actor best known for his comedic roles in many TVB television dramas. He gained wide public attention in the 1990s for his portrayal of Ben Yu in the 1991 legal drama '' File of Justice'', appearing in all five seasons.
