Armani Rogers
Armani Lee Rogers (born December 4, 1997) is an American professional football tight end. He played college football as a quarterback for the UNLV Rebels and Ohio Bobcats and holds the record for longest run by an NCAA quarterback at 99 yards. Rogers transitioned to tight end after his college career and signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is an offense (sports), offensive position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football. It is a hybrid that combines the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a receiver (football), receiver. As part of the receiver corps, they play inside the flanks (tight), contrasted with the split end who plays outside the flanks (wide). Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. A formation in American football refers to the position players line up in before the start of a down. There are both offensive and defensive formations and many in both categories. Sometimes, formations are referred to as packages. Offense At the highest level of play in the NFL and NCAA, the one constant in all formations is the offensive line, consisting of the left and right tackle, left and right guard, and a center. 2020 Ohio Bobcats Football Team
The 2020 Ohio Bobcats football team represented Ohio University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by 16th-year head coach Frank Solich and played their home games at Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio, as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference.
