Armando Riveiro
Armando Ribeiro de Aguiar Malda (born 16 January 1971), known simply as Armando, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his 20-year senior career with Cádiz (nine seasons and 273 games, appearing in all three major levels of Spanish football), finishing it with Athletic Bilbao where he played three of his four La Liga campaigns, totalling 44 matches. Playing career Armando was born in Sopelana, Biscay. After representing several clubs in the lower leagues, with an unassuming three-year Segunda División spell at Deportivo Alavés, he spent nine years of his career at Cádiz CF, being the second tier's Ricardo Zamora Trophy in 2004–05 and first-choice throughout most of the following season's La Liga, as the Andalusians were immediately relegated. Sopelana
Sopela, formerly known as Sopelana, is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. The town is roughly 820 hectares in size, located in the comarca Mungialdea on the north east side of Bilbao and due east of the Nervión river estuary. Ricardo Zamora Trophy
The Zamora Trophy () is a football award, established by Spanish newspaper '' Marca'' in 1958. The award goes to the goalkeeper who has the lowest "goals-to-games" ratio.Similar to goals against average in ice hockey or earned run average in baseball. In the inaugural year of the award, the winning goalkeeper had to play at least 15 league matches in the current season. In 1964, the limit for matches a goalkeeper had to play was raised to 22. In 1983, it was raised to 28 matches, including the rule that the goalkeeper had to play at least 60 minutes in match for it to count. In the last couple of years the list of goalkeepers who would have won the trophy prior to 1958 has been published. For these seasons, a limit of matches that the goalkeeper had to play has been applied. Iñaki Lafuente
Iñaki Lafuente Sancha (born 24 January 1976) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He appeared in 146 La Liga games over ten seasons, mainly with Athletic Bilbao. He also represented Espanyol and Sporting de Gijón in the competition. Club career Born in Barakaldo, Biscay, Lafuente was a graduate of Lezama, the famed Athletic Bilbao youth academy. The 2007–08 La Liga season was the 77th since its establishment. It began on 25 August 2007, and concluded on 18 May 2008. Real Madrid secured a second consecutive La Liga title following a 2–1 victory over Osasuna on 4 May 2008. Gorka Iraizoz Moreno (born 6 March 1981) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper, currently manager of Gernika Club. He spent most of his professional career with Athletic Bilbao, appearing in 392 official games. In La Liga he also represented Espanyol and Girona, winning the 2006 Copa del Rey with the first club.
